The Elk is a very safe river to float in either inner tubes or on stand-up paddle boards. For those hesitant to take a day off fishing, there is nothing written that says you can't have your partner enjoy a paddle board for part of the day while you enjoy the dry fly fishing from a drift boat or raft. Winter
Fernie truly shines in winter and there is no finer place to be than Brooks Creek Ranch. We do offer full lodge rentals if of interest. It's a great place to base your snowy adventures from.
