The Kitchen

Using fresh local ingredients, guests get a taste of Canada’s natural bounty designed by local celebrity chef and our partner, Barrie Elliott. International guests have the opportunity to indulge in Canada’s fresh natural flavours. Our breakfast service provides hot items for guests as well as continental items, and guests may purchase snacks at an additional fee throughout the day. As we work on having our kitchen approved for full meal service, it’s our hope that full meal service options will be available for our guests in mid 2019. In the meantime, we’re adding a small kitchenette on the main floor that includes a small fridge, microwave, sink and dishes, along with a barbecue on the deck that is for our guests to use while staying at Brooks Creek Ranch. Breakfast

A full continental and hot breakfast is served daily from 7:00am – 10:00am. A brunch service is available upon request with an additional fee between 9:00am – 12:00pm.

As the seasons change, so do our menus, therefore not every item is available year round. Where possible, our food is sourced from local and sustainable producers who use ethical and natural farming practices without pesticides or hormones. At Brooks Creek Ranch you can expect to indulge in fresh seasonal foods throughout the year.

Our Executive Chef

The menu at Brooks Creek Ranch is imagined, created, and designed by Fernie’s very own Barrie Elliott. As a winner on television’s Chopped Canada, Chef Elliott has mastered the culinary arts and is recognized nationwide for her accomplishments. Chef Elliott brings a masterful eye of inspired culinary artistry that celebrates the senses. We are thrilled to have Chef Elliott as our partner.

 

Dietary Restrictions

We will always accommodate gluten-free and celiac restrictions as well as other constraints such as dairy-free, nut-free, vegetarian, and vegan at the guest’s request. We operate a “from scratch” kitchen where the environment is extremely controlled to accommodate our guests with strict diets.
